Hanoi’s Old Quarter

Nothing more amazing by exploring every old and small corner of Hanoi Old Quarter on a Cyclo: an area of narrow streets and alleys is home to literally thousands of small businesses and shopkeepers; crammed with markets, streetfood stalls, noodle bars and coffee shops. The area close to Hoan Kiem Lake dates back more than a thousand years, many of the streets are named after the particular craft or skill that was most prominent, be it silverwork, leather shoes, porcelain or silk. Many of these crafts can still be found in their respective streets today!
